Registration has begun for the fall/Christmas session of Kids Sing out at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, 540 N.E. Highwy 101. Organizers say the workshop is designed to develop vocal and performance skills for kids in the forth through the eight grade. The cost is $40 per child. The first workshop will be held at 10 a.m, Saturday, March 15.

Last December, KSO presented four performances of the original musical “The Gift” before Lincoln City crowds.

“Our kids grew so much in the disciplines and joys of performance, said Valerie Kendall,KSO director. “Now in this spring workshop, we want to focus deeper in developing performance skills by reducing the song list just a little and seeking greater finesse in each song."

The spring workshop will culminate in a Broadway-style review in the Lincoln City Cultural Center Auditorium at 7 p.m. Friday, May 9 .

To register, or for more information, call Valerie Kendall at 541 996-4045 or email:
