Once again this legislative session, Oregon Coast Community College is hosting live video town hall meetings between Lincoln County residents and their elected officials in Salem.

The next such event of the legislative session is set for 7:30 a.m. Friday, June 14 at OCCC’s locations in Newport and Lincoln City.

This will mark the last opportunity for County residents to join in a live conference with Rep. David Gomberg and Sen. Arnie Roblan while the legislative session is still underway and votes are still left to be cast. Some anticipate the session may come to an end as early as June 21 this year.

Throughout every full-length legislative term, Lincoln County residents have been able to meet regularly with their representatives, live via video conference from Oregon Coast Community College’s facilities in Lincoln City and Newport.

The public is invited to attend this free event, during which they will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to their elected representatives.

OCCC’s Central County Campus is located at 400 SE College Way in Newport. The North County Center in Lincoln City is located at 3788 SE High School Drive. For information, call 541-994-4166.
