On June 14, police confirmed that a robber held employees at gunpoint, fleeing the scene with an unknown amount of cash. According to Lincoln City police the robber entered the Bank of the West in South Lincoln City shortly after its 9 a.m. opening.

According to police, the suspect was wearing a black ski mask, gray sweatpants, black zip-up-style hoodie and hiking shoes. Officers describe the hiking shoes as gray and black.

Police say the suspect stands between 5-feet-5-inches and 5-feet-seven-inches tall, weighs between 140 and 170 pounds, and has blue eyes.
