Bernice Christiansen

Bernice Christensen passed away at the age of 93, on Feb. 28, 2019, due to complications from cancer. Bernice grew up in Gig Harbor, WA but spent most of her years as a longtime resident of the Panther Creek community in Otis, OR. She was part owner of the Otis Cafe back in the 60's, worked at the Cozy Cove Inn in Lincoln City, and was a newspaper carrier for the Statesman-Journal for 16 years. Bernice enjoyed her life on the coast and was very thankful for good friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and John, and her sister, Carol. She is survived by three nieces and two nephews.

A private family ceremony will be held in Tacoma, Washington.
