Judith Larrett died in a fatal car accident at the age of 81, on Jan 10, 2019. Judy was born April 26, 1937, in Colville, WA. She graduated from Washington High School in Portland and later attended both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. Judy will be remembered for her smile, along with her warm and loving spirit. She almost made her 59th wedding anniversary. She is a wife, a mother, and a grandmother to five adult grandchildren (Elise, Pamela, Alaura, Zachary, and Sarah).

In her youth, Judy was a cellist in the Portland Junior Symphony. Other areas of her accomplishments include being fluent in Spanish, accomplished in needlepoint, a seamstress, gardener, teacher, mentor, and caregiver. She was a member of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) where she served in every elected position in her local chapter, including as President for 2 years. She attended church at Chapel by the Sea and sang in the choir.

Judy was a homemaker until the kids were grown after which she had many jobs, including her work in banking for many years (Lincoln Bank, Bank of Newport, and West Coast Bank). She had an unquenchable hunger to learn and always was in the middle of a book. Everything she did was with warmth, providing a welcoming home to family, friends, and others. It was not unusual to find those who did not have a family to spend holidays with joining her family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Larrett, and her two adult children - Kevin and his wife Susan Larrett of Orlando, Florida, and Coleen Larrett of Olympia, Washington.

Judy leaves behind many dear family members and friends, she will be deeply missed.
