Paul Sherwood

Paul Edward Sherwood, 71, of Depoe Bay died peacefully at home from complications of cancer on June 26, 2019.

Paul was born August 13, 1947 in Tonasket, Washington to Earl W. and Isabelle C. (Pooley) Sherwood.

He attended Enumclaw High School in Enumclaw, Washington and Green River Community College in Auburn, Washington. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Paul married Vickie (Browning) Sherwood on August 1, 1970 in Carbonado, Washington. They have two children, Scott E. Sherwood and Teri R. Kimberling.

Paul and his family moved to the Oregon Coast in 1984. He worked in the grocery business and for Pepsi Cola, and for the last 15 years for Power Auto Group.

Paul was a member of the Newport Elks, American Legion, Teamsters and Retail Clerks Union.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He also enjoyed fishing and baseball.

Paul is survived by his wife, Vickie; son, Scott; daughter, Teri; two grandchildren; and his sister Elizabeth; also, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

A private ceremony is being held with family and friends.
