I am an Assistant State Director for Oregon Good Same. We are a RV camping group that is comprised of all types of recreational vehicles from motor homes to pull trailers with a common interest in outdoor activities, fellowship and charity.

We had a three day get-together at the end of April at Wapiti RV Park, one of your magnificent local campgrounds, Roger and Diane Gettis, the owners of the park, went out of their way to make sure things went smoothly for our group event. We had a wonderful time and our main object besides enjoying each other’s company is having a food drive and a silent and oral charity auction. The gifts for the auction are donated by our members and we auction them off with the proceeds to be given to charity.

We are proud to say that we donated 668 pounds of food to Lincoln City Food Pantry. We were also able to donate $403.00 to City Backpack Program, $403.00 to the Cub Scout Pack No. 47 and $403.00 to Family Promise all in support of Lincoln City and County. Jim and Joyce Sage of Lincoln City were very instrumental in helping us channel our donations to where they would do so much good for your community.

We bring in about 80 folks to our event that we call The Roundup. We enjoy and support your community and business and look forward to coming back at the end of April next year.
